Excellent Heat Resistance
Our Graphite can be used up to approximately 3,000℃ in inert atmospheres and up to about 400℃ in oxidizing atmospheres. One of special characteristics of graphite is that mechanical strength increases as the temperature gets higher up until 2,500℃ in inert atmospheres.
Excellent Electrical/Thermal Conductivity
Our Graphite has the similar thermal and electrical conductivity as those for metal.
Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion
The coefficient of thermal expansion is less than half that of metals such as iron and copper.
Excellent Thermal Shoch Resistance
Our Graphite is extremely resistant to the appearance of cracks and fractures even when exposed to sudden heating or cooling.

Extrusion molding allows the production of large materials as a single piece. It can accommodate a maximum dimensions of670x450mm and a length of up to 4000mm.
Lightweight and Easy to machining
The density of carbon materials is lower than that of aluminium and less than one-third that of iron or copper. Additionally, it is easy to machine and allows for complex and precise machining.

Using large machining centers and NC lathes, precise machining are available according to customer’s specifications.
Okayama Plant conducts machining on Carbon & Graphite specialties. Using large machining centers and NC lathes, we can machine large Graphite products with very high precision.
We can accommodate customer requests with CAD-based drawing and design, as well as precise and high-accuracy machining.
Additionally, we can provide various special impregnations, such as anti-oxidation treatments, tailored to specific applications.
